How to Wash Sherpa

Sherpa is widely popular for its softness, comfort, and excellent warmth. However, it requires special care during cleaning to ensure its quality and comfort are maintained for a long time. In this guide, we'll share the correct methods for cleaning Sherpa, helping your garments stay cozy and warm.

1.Hand washing -First Choice

For Sherpa, hand washing is the safest and most gentle cleaning method. Here are the steps for hand washing Sherpa:

·Prepare a large basin or bathtub filled with lukewarm water (not exceeding 40°C).

·Add a gentle detergent, preferably one designed for wool or silk fabrics.

·Place the Sherpa garment in the water, gently agitate, and ensure it is fully submerged.

·Gently massage the Sherpa with your hands, especially in areas with heavy stains.

·Thoroughly rinse the garment in clean water until no detergent residue remains.

2.Gentle machine washing option

If hand washing is not convenient, you can also choose to clean Sherpa in the washing machine using a gentle detergent. Here are some tips for machine washing Sherpa:

·Select a gentle washing cycle and use cold or warm water.

·Place the garment in a laundry bag to prevent the fleece from catching on other clothing.

·Avoid using bleach or detergents containing bleach, as they may damage the fabric.

3.Air drying is preferable

Whether you hand wash or machine wash, Sherpa should be air dried after cleaning. Avoid using a dryer, as high temperatures may damage or shrink the Sherpa fleece. Lay the garment flat in a well-ventilated area and allow it to air dry naturally.

4.Gentle care

During cleaning and drying, please avoid excessive stretching or twisting of the Sherpa to prevent damage to the fleece or shape.
